We reconfigured and renovated this character family home inside and out. An oak beamed porch, aged brickwork, antique planters, box hedge landscaping and a custom-made front door sympathetically updated the exterior.

Inside, we reconfigured the ground floor, creating both intimate family spaces and areas for larger gatherings, and allowing natural light and views to flow through. Reorientating the kitchen and dining spaces to maximise views, we added a bespoke hand-crafted kitchen and a snug layered with fabrics and textures, book lined walls and a secret door. We created architectural character throughout with bespoke doors, wall panelling and joinery.

The warm colour palette of greens, mushrooms, caramels, and deep burgundy weaves through the house, creating a cohesive, satisfying feel. Carefully mixing antique finds, and art and objects collected over time, made this newly updated home feel instantly inviting and comfortable.
